Firstly a warm hello & welcome. I'm Becci, a qualified 200hr yoga teacher. Yoga has slowly but surely become a huge part of my life over the past few years. I immediately fell in love with the practise of yoga, the benefits for my body and mind and the yoga community that welcomed me with open arms.  I decided to start my journey to share all that I love about yoga when I signed up for my yoga teacher training course in 2019.  I hope to be able to share my passion for a healthy body and mind through my teaching and would love to tell you a little bit more about how yoga came into my life.

 

A few years ago I began to notice I was starting to feel increasingly anxious in my day to day life. Looking back on things now, I realise I had lost a little bit of "me". I'd always wanted to go to a yoga class but, like with most things, I never got round to it. As my anxiety started to affect how I felt everyday, I finally made the time to attend a local yoga class. I haven't missed my weekly class since! I truly believe that yoga finds us when the time is right and when we need it most in our life, and this definitely was the case for me. Yoga has changed my life for the better and has given me the foundations to help overcome my struggles with anxiety. I'm a big believer in the connection of body and mind, and how through our practise with yoga we can feel grounded, balanced and calm. We live in a world that is moving faster by the day where looking after ourselves isn't a priority. I want to change that and invite you to join me in finding our balance together.
